I found myself counting the total number of revolutions around the roller rink made by each individual skater. At one point, I lost track of the total number of individual skaters, then I summoned up the extra focus to recount the skaters accurately. (Actually, to be honest, I watched the video several times.) But the point is, I’m now confident of the total number of skaters, and the exact number of revolutions that each skater made during the course of the interview. Statistics are crucial to the success of roller derbys as they reclaim their rightful place in the panoply of our nations cultural heritage. Kudos to Danbert and to Rose!
